Hello Rui, I am Chinese living in Vancouver. Every year I come to Japan for vacation and been to Nara several times. I stayed mostly in Kyoto. But I like going to Todaiji and surrounding area to see the buddhist statues. I don't know where to see tropical plants in Nara, maybe you can recommend. I can read some Japanese alright.
