my favourite Manga Artist

This is the work by my favourite Manga artist: Yamagishi Ryoko
The picture is her idea of Shotoku Taishi (a famous historical person).
The story is from her famous Manga called "Hiijurutokoronotenshi"
Prince of where the Sun Rises
I love this story and the central character Umayado is my hero!
I will try to have some of the costume made while in Vietnam.

beautiful cushions

These are the beautiful cushions embroidered by Tan My, in Hanoi, Vietnam. I am going to shop there for nice clothes with rich embroidery. Maybe I am going to ask them to do a custom work that takes 3 months to complete. I want to have a pattern of aristolochia on a shirt. Their workers are very skillful, I think they can do it.

Fantasy costume that can never be made

This is based on Asuka period costume, but is too sexy and can never be made or no one will dare to dress in it!

Silk Collections and things to buy in Vietnam

This is the lacquer set. So beautiful. Perfect for a tea party.
Then I am going to have some European style silk shirts and pants copied in Vietnam!

This is my design of a translucent shirt with chinese and Edwardian details. I will select the organza, and then have the workers emboidered the Vietnamese passion flowers on.
When I am in Vietnam, I will ask the tailors to copy these shirts and pants in silk and there will be a huge selections of patterned silk to choose from.
