Easter Chocolate from Germany

Thank you my friend Monika for sending me all these lovely chocolate and candies from Germany.  The Mozart Bombs are to die for.  I love the exotic taste of the beautiful little eggs in the carton.  The childhood themed candies are classic.  Everything is so beautiful and tasty!  I will share them with my co-workers at work.

Relax!

I spent the day in bed, relax and do a bit of work on my project and paint costume.  I am drinking a lemon drink called effervescente.  Dried broken coral lookalike of 2 table spoons to a glass of water will turn into a fuzzy carbonate drink of lemon scent.  Very elegant!
Absinth bottle is for me to make some chocolate for St. Patrick's day.  It will be called the Green Fairy.

Chocolate from Germany

My friend Stefan sent me many different kinds of chocolate from Germany.  They taste so good.  The one with real truffle from the woodland is so special and aromatic.  Thank you so much.

New Year's

This is my set up for chinese new year candy.  Thanks Monika for all the wonderful candies from Germany.

TWG tea

I have quite a few of their tea and some are better than others.  The signature 1837 black has red fruits and caramel in black tea.  I am getting tired of the caramel smell as I cook it almost everyday at work.  So I need something to remind me not about work!  Weekend in Bombay is red fruits and caramel in a Darjeeling 1st flush.  I finished it already, it was good.  I have now a beautiful White Desire Tea with taste of custard apple and star fruit, and a Passionfruit black tea.  This passionfruit is closer in taste to the fruit than what I have before with Metropolitan tea which has a vanilla base.
The tea chocolates are expensive for the size but modern and trendy with gold dusting and classy design and the ganache is of passionfruit, rose, earl gray or singapore breakfast tea infusion.

another perfume

I got this one today called Drama Nuui.  It is from Parfumerie Generale.  Bitter jasminade with a fusion of absinthe highlights.  Allegory of dawn, o floral temptation of tragic fragility.  Sensual stickiness of wood infused with spices... A spell arousing a libertine musk.

Tea Time Treats

This is the perfect eclair!  The french style.  Inside is filled with chocolate mousse and outside is not just dark chocolate but a beautifully done glossy layer of glace only french chef can do.
Then also the Italian nougets, so nice and soft and full of nuts and fruits.  I love the tin with chocolate chips cookies inside.  The design of the tin is so pretty.
